Our Commitment

TFH.com.au is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for our employees, contractors, visitors, and customers. We recognise that health and safety is a shared responsibility, and we rely on everyone in our business to play their part.

We comply with applicable Australian health and safety legislation, regulations, and industry standards, and we are committed to continuously improving how we manage health and safety as our business grows.

Our Approach

Our approach focuses on practical commitments we can stand behind today:

1

Complying with Australian WHS legislation and regulations

2

Providing fit-for-purpose equipment and products for hire

3

Supporting our team to identify, report, and raise safety concerns

4

Learning from incidents and improving the way we work

5

Communicating openly with our people, customers, and contractors about safety

Shared Responsibility

Health and safety at TFH is a shared responsibility across our organisation.

Our leadership is committed to:

  • Providing a safe working environment and the resources our team needs to work safely
  • Meeting our legal and regulatory obligations
  • Listening to the people on the ground and acting on hazards and concerns they raise
  • Reviewing and improving the way we manage safety as our business grows

Our team is expected to:

  • Take reasonable care for their own health and safety
  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of others around them
  • Follow safe work practices and reasonable instructions
  • Report hazards, incidents, and near misses
  • Wear the personal protective equipment required for their role

Equipment & Product Safety

We take the safety of our hire equipment seriously. Our products:

  • Meet relevant Australian safety standards for their category
  • Are inspected before hire and on return
  • Are supplied with clear information for safe set-up and use
  • Are maintained to remain fit for purpose over their working life

Reporting & Communication

We encourage open reporting of safety concerns. Employees, contractors, customers, and visitors can raise a hazard, incident, or near miss at any time using the contact details below. Raising issues early is how we learn and improve.

We communicate with our team about health and safety through the day-to-day channels we use across the business, and we are working to formalise this further over time.

Emergencies

If there is an emergency on any TFH site or involving our equipment, call 000 (triple zero) immediately.

For non-emergency safety concerns or to report a hazard, contact the safety team using the details below.

Continuous Improvement

We know our approach to health and safety needs to grow with our business. We are committed to strengthening our systems and practices over time by learning from the feedback of our people and customers, acting on incidents and near misses, and building the structures that support a safer workplace as we grow.
